Can anyone please tell me the part number?

I have a Kombi and a HL-100 articulating hedge trimmer. Now that the powerhead of the HL-100 is locked up, I want to use the trimmer attachment on my Kombi. I see I would need a kombi shaft on the attachment. Can anyone please tell me the part number?

Deep thin 8mm socket to remove nuts of air filter baffle on a MS261?

They just can't make it easy. My 8mm deep socket has a OD of 11.75mm. The hole is 11mm. Where do I find a 8mm thin wall deep socket that has OD no more than 11mm? Or how else do you even remove those two 8mm nuts? The workshop manual doesn't mention a special tool.

A thermal switch on the cylinder to kill ignition when engine is too hot?

What would be the disaster if it doesn't work? If it kicks in when it is not supposed to, then just turn it off (using the disable switch so that it doesn't kill.) You sell stihl saws?

A thermal switch on the cylinder to kill ignition when engine is too hot?

Clip on to the fin or drill a small hole on a fin? It will be try and error to determine the best temp of the switch. If I was to market such protection upgrade, I will sell a set of, say, five thermal switches. Install the lowest temp one first to see if it interrupts normal daily operation...

A thermal switch on the cylinder to kill ignition when engine is too hot?

With so many chainsaws dying of overheating, why not install a thermal switch on the cylinder to kill ignition when engine is too hot? It should be easy to find a thermal switch to provide no ohm above certain temp and we can tie it to the kill wire. Stihl and its dealerships don't want your saw...

TEST - Everything working fine after those lnikbucks mess-up?

Still saw the linkbucks page on and off this weekend. I think the OS and software need to be reinstalled from scratch. Also need to find the way to stop the attacks.

TEST - Everything working fine after those lnikbucks mess-up?

Just this afternoon for couple hrs at least when I tried to go back to this thread, I was redirected to the linkbucks pages again..... so, no it is not yet fixed. It must be hard to remove all damages unless a new site is setup with new OS and programs reinstalled. Even harder, if not...

What is the part number for this Stihl 032AV stop switch?

No, it doesn't fit. I had the switch. It was different than 1110-430-0202. Now I need one and I looked thru my PDFs and Internet and could not find it.

What is the part number for this Stihl 032AV stop switch?

This is what I usually see on 031AV. The part number is 1110 430 0202 I believe. But my 032AV kill wire (from the coil) have this connection: So, it needs a different stop switch. Any knows the part number?

What is this stihl crankshaft for?

Sorry if I offended anyone. I didn't mean it. I am just trying to ID this crankshaft. I have seen "1114" on a 024 crankshaft, or a "1125" on a MS290 crankshaft. Maybe this "1122" crankshaft was used for something else.

What is this stihl crankshaft for?

me rude? :confused2: I am just trying to ID this crankshaft hoping some experts would know. I am begin to think this is for some early 064s which don't have much documentation on Internet. Or it might not even be for 1122 series.... but I don't see many other stihl equipment using Xmm x 16mm x...

What is this stihl crankshaft for?

    Definitely.

What is this stihl crankshaft for?

I still don't know what it is for as it needs a piston pin bearing with 16mm OD but none of the 064/066/MS660 uses that. They use 17mm. Also the flywheel side bearing should have a 17mm ID but this crankshaft takes 15mm.

What is this stihl crankshaft for?

No, it has a metal flywheel as the nut thread is M8. So, it is for 064 or early 066. And it has a 16mm OD for the piston pin bearing which is supposed to be 12x17x13 (9512 003 3281) for either 064 or 066 or even MS660. 12x17x13 means 12mm ID, 17mm OD, and 13mm width.
