    I think I've spent a total of 1hr there in a week and a half. :D Was working at the hospital last night until 10:00. At Forrest/Barton ATM sitting in a garden opposite DFAT sipping a latte, then in a hotel basement running pipes, which isn't so fun Scarey, I'm actually enjoying working around...

    Well I better not mention that since chippy bagged out Landy electrics my bloody wipers sweep when I flick the left hand indicator ! WTF ? They've been fine till then. Bastard jinxed them !

    Naa, seen a few Landy's do that too, the stock tire rod and drag links are bloody spaghetti. All fixed when replaced with 32mm OD tube.

    The Defender is ok electronically, it's a Ford engine in them these days, even the TD5 which was a Land Rover design was pretty bloody good electronically (and the ECU was by Lucas !) it's stupid build quality issues in some of them. I've heard of far too many with rear diffs in the last five...

    Yep, top front corners of the front door/roof seal, and I have to replace the seal between the bulkhead and windscreen frame, but that's a roof lift job.

    The bloody Defenders still leak ! When they first started ckd production here in the eighties a mate was an engineer with JRA and they sent a fax to the UK asking what size spray nozzles and what pressure they used for the spray rig to test water ingress. The return fax came back "spray rig ?"
