    Homelite 360 pro problem!!

[FONT=Verdana]Your description would make it seem likely the boot has a hole/tear. It could likely use a carb diaphragm kit. I would suggest you check the anti-vibe rubber in back of the bar. If it or some of the other 3 are ripped you could end up ruining another boot/connector.

    Homelite 9-26 Gear Drive

The shaft has the single keyway so I'm missing what the adapter is supposed to fit??? BTW... the 9/16" was a 7 tooth & the 1/2" was a 8 tooth. Not sure if a .404 would be a 8 or 9 tooth.

    Help on big old homelite

    The 9-23 & 9-26 did not have a traditional muffler...only a Muffler Cap P/N 56691A. The 900, 909 & 990 series were the only others to use that P/N.

    Homelite 9-26 Gear Drive

shanesaw The saw came with either 9/16" or 1/2" sprockets. I have never seen a .404 in the 'star' style sprocket.

What is a duck bill valve?

Those little duck bill valves were also used in the fuel caps of most of the big HOMELITE's under the scinitered bronze plug. Check your SXL, XL12's etc. When they age, the rubber turns to goo. The plug comes out with a little prying with a sharp icepick like tool. Bill Walcott

    homelite orig EZ.. anything interchange?

Whoops... missed part The Old EZ & the EZ-6 used P/N A55599 Piston Assy and THE CYLINDER P/N 55490, superceded by P/N56182A. There were several others that also used this same combo.

Can't get clip off to remove sprocket

The original circ-clip were a one shot use only. An actual E-Clip should come with your new sprocket. BillW

    Homelite Super E-Z Automatic

SEZ Chain length 59 is standard for 3/8" chain for almost all 16" of the older HOMELITES until the newer design with the vertical piston came around.

    Homelite (old) saw?!

MANGE My HOMELITE records do not have any 'Economy' XL12....Perhaps it could be a Canadian or international version. There is not much you could 'cut out' to economize a XL12. FIREAXMAN The XL12 was available with bars 16,20,24 & 14" Bows
