    Fiskars X7 versus Estwing hatchet

We have 3 fiskars hatchets. One by each stove for kindling and one that goes to the woods when I cut. Light, controllable, and very sharp (my hands have a couple scars). They are on par with my other fiskars products. I have a friend who swears by the estwing hatchet\mini sledge combo for...

    Re-wedging an Axe, bad idea?

That only works temproary. And when it dries back out the head will be loose. If you want to soak it try boiled linseed oil. It wont dry out of the wood as fast as water.

Im not a professional but that looks like a maple to me. Definitely not cottonwood, cottonwood bark is much thicker.

Any millenials still heat with wood?

I dont know What generation I am. 40yrs old. To young to be a boomer, and too motivated to be a millennial. Ive heated solely with wood for well over a decade. Wouldnt trade it for the world. We the eliteists know the great benifits that are recieved through dedication and hard work. Thank you...

Want to Sell Saw collection for sale.

Someone is gonna get a deal and I'm gonna get some shelf space back. Both pm70s run, one is missing a few small parts. The stihl are 170s and an 009. $200 takes the pile. I know there is way more value in saws there than that. But they arent doing me any good collecting dust. My loss is your...

Want to Sell Saw collection for sale.

I am cleaning out shelves. These have accumulated in my shop and I'm ready to have the room. I prefer local pick up only from 46750. Individual prices are available but would really like to sell the while pile at once. Various bars and chains included. Most run. $200

    McCulloch Chain Saws

If you put some grease on the drill bit before drilling you will catch the shavings in the grease. Thereby lowering the chance of them falling in the cylinder. Sent from my LG-H871 using Tapatalk

    McCulloch Chain Saws

Is it possible that my 800 came from the factory without a chain brake installed? I pulled the side cover and after cleaning it up realize that there's not even anywhere on the paint from the brake band rubbing. After looking closer it doesn't look like any of the brake components have ever been...

Will the chain brake off of a pm700 work on my pm800? I have a 700 parts saw with a brake and there is no brake on my 800. Wondering if I can swap it to the 800. Looks to like it would fit. Will the full wrap on the 800 be in the way? Sent from my LG-H871 using Tapatalk

Well she's all back together but I only have one question where does the little cable go I think I might have the mounts switched Edit: she absolutely rips. Gotta do some tuning but the 28" bar is like the 20" on my 70. Think I found a new favorite...... Sent from my LG-H871 using Tapatalk

After much polishing this is what im left with. I havent scotchbrited it yet. What you see are gouged in the cylinder surface. How bad are they? Think it will run or am I looking at a replate? Sent from my LG-H871 using Tapatalk

Mark How do I get in touch with Bob Johnson? I am finding lots of "c" pistins but no "b" piston. Sent from my LG-H871 using Tapatalk Edit: I found a nos "b" piston with rings for $100. Is that a decent price?
