    sounds good.. BUT not much that Stihl sells that cost $50... maybe some oil or some sort of personal protective stuff... it is a good reason to spend more.!!:greenchainsaw:

    wood price

    To me.... a "rick" is a face cord... and a Face Cord of unseasoned split Maple is something that i would not charge a "Friend" much for.. i would charge enough to cover my time cutting and splitting.. A guess $35..:cheers: Comeon dude,, unseasoned maple..? give a friend a break..:chainsaw:

    Which splitter for me?

    try going to the Tractor Supply Store and ask to speak to the manager.. Tell them you applied online for the coupon and have not received it,, ask him/her to honor it anyway and tell them your ready today to purchace a splitter.. they are usually accomodating.:)

    I have the Huskee (speeco) 35 ton.. excellent value for the money, and splits anything i have. Most of the time its a half to 3/4 throttle.. We paid $1529 with the TSC 15% coupon we got at the Store,,2 years ago..! :chainsawguy:

    Looks like some Suger Maple also, and of course some Mystery Wood which i cant identify, some sort of multi trunked Maple leafed trees.:confused:

    After our Winter Storms , i have plenty of Silver Maple on the ground, i bucked it in 14 inch rounds, and began splitting it this weekend,, I'm not to sure about the Silver Maple as good firewood, any thoughts ? :chainsaw:

    either your not looking hard enough or,,,,, your letting your wallet cloud your judgement.. just buy the darn thing,, there are plenty of splitters out there that fit your criteria , and are affordable.. :deadhorse:

    Huskey splitter

    i have split a ton of wood with my 35 ton huskee and have not hit the engine yet,, hell i'm standing right there,, if it hit the motor it would have to roll me over first,,go figure,, i hear the new design will have the operator standing in the next county.:dizzy::greenchainsaw::greenchainsaw:

    huskee quality

    i dont know about all the nay sayers,, but my 35 ton huskee works great and the welds look fine to me,, but hell who cares,, those who look for problems will surely find them,, if you want to pay more,, you certainly can,, most new briggs and honda engines are now built in china anyway, :cheers...

    Huskee 35 Ton Splitter - Check Your Hoses!

    Speeco seems to step up. I like that about a company,, Not everything can be perfect ,,but,, when its not Speeco seems to be there.. mostly.. Gotta repect that. As a working man, i value those follow ups..You can buy a more expensive splitter , or one that folks think are better then...

    ever had a chainsaw chain break

    i have an MS361, and when i get "froggy" and wedge the saw while cutting , i seem to stretch the chain and in flops off the bar,, it has happened twice,, maybe my fault..!:chainsaw: i can tell when i have stretched it because the adjustment screw is all the way forward , and still slop in the...

    Which saw should I get?

    If you act quickly you may still be able to find a new MS361 on the shelf. The replacement MS362 is now replacing the 361. The MS361 is a great powerful all day saw,, Smooth and powerful , and will serve you well for many years,, Find the MS361 and dont look back.. :chainsaw:
