Ryobi Chainsaw - Tough Cord Pull

Hello, I experienced the same problems pulling my bigger saws, the CS 660, 670 and 8000 when i stored them cold. Nowadays when I think early enough about it, i let the saw warm up, store it a night or a few hours at a heated place. I think the cause of the problem is thickened oil that seals...

New to site , original owner CS650EVL , have some questions ...

Hello, I own a 660 EVL witch is the same saw with different chaincover. I also had this problem in the past. On my saw i found out that the tuning of the carburator was not right. For better starting the L screw is mainly responsible. I tried to tune the mixtures on L and later also on H and...

    Echo 610 thoughts

Since i asked years ago what i should do with a never fired CST 610 that i found most of the reactions here were leave her unused. Because i was able to collect more of them i could run the others. But as time goes by, a dead saw, even so untouched and nice as she is, does not attract me any...

    Echo 650 evl differences

John deere saws (built by echo)

It is really military, i also have the wooden case with Nato stocknumber. Also hoarded six twins. For one of them i am looking for a right crankcase-half. Five of them..... But the saw i like most is the CS 4500, light but powerful enough to manage most jobs in the wood making firewood.

John deere saws (built by echo)

    Echo CS4600

The CS 4500 had two types of oilpump-plunger and wormgear. The older one had a 16 teeth plunger and a metal worm gear with two outside noses that fit in the clutch drum. The later type was a 10 teeth plunger and a white plastic worm gear. The clutch drum fits with all seven splines in the...
