Very nice! Still have the 610 my mom paid for after hurricane Alicia in `82. Needs some tune up and an oversize spark plug retro but still in good cosmetic shape. I love the yeller saws.

    Vacu Stack cap

OK, here are the pics of my stack coming through the "winder". You will see why I can't get above the trees, especially my wonderful Ash shade tree on the other side of the house. Funny thing is, when the wind turns around and comes from that side (South) and over the ridge I don't have a...

    Vacu Stack cap

I'll upload some if ya'll promise not to look at the house. I mean, REAL Redneck! It's been mistaken for one of the barns. :( I ordered the 8" Vacu Stack today and it better work! Not holding my breath since nothing else I've tried has worked for the past 23 or so years The wife's son said...

    Vacu Stack cap

" Of all the things I've lost, I miss my mind the most!" I'm sorry, the pipe is just the opposite of the 10*. It turns 10* up off of 90* with an adjustable elbow so I guess that would be 80*. [so how could you get a pipe that is still going almost straight up to go through a window?] Well, I've...

large quantity bushwhacker ant bait in Texas

[Jgoat simply does not actually know what he has.] Well, I kind of gathered that when I logged in the other day and found his post. I did find my pdf of the full label but it doesn't list Bromocil. The drum I have may no longer be any good. It was in a warehouse for quite some time. It is...

    Vacu Stack cap

Well brenndatoma, I was coming back here to edit my post after I realized I missed the mark on the outside pipe. It's actually about five ft. on the outside and yes I extended up another 24" section and found out I was just wasting precious and expensive iron ore. at 5' it doesn't quite clear...

large quantity bushwhacker ant bait in Texas

Well, I have the active ingredients to the stuff on this `lectric brain somewhere but don't recall exactly if it contains that. I stated in my original post that it came in a lot from an auction I won. I'll dig the ingredients out and look them over but yes, Bromacil I think is used in...

    Vacu Stack cap

Hi ya'll, Ain't been here in awhile. I've searched through a few threads here and found a link to the Vacu Stack wind resistant chimney cap. Also did a Bing search on reviews. I like the reviews I've read and think that, after 23 years of putting up with the huff and puff, this thing "might"...

large quantity bushwhacker ant bait in Texas

Well, did you ever sell the Bushwhacker? I managed to find the USDA tests on it and it ranks in the top 3 as far as effectiveness. It's no longer manufactured so it's difficult to find very much data on it. From what I found out so far, it was last manufactured here in Texas and I think it could...

Anybody got experience haulin wood with Ford 351w w/ auto trans

I'm not real familiar with the 97s but if they are the same interior wise as the Stage II's, you may be eligible for membership into the elite CDC. (Cracked Dash Club) Merry Christmas all

Anybody got experience haulin wood with Ford 351w w/ auto trans

I've always had this fetish for the older square box Fords with the "Round eyes". 67 or 68?? up until around 78??? My Son got one for doing some work for a guy. Not sure what year but after some minor tinkering and repairs, he loves the old girl. That's when all you needed was a shade tree to...

Anybody got experience haulin wood with Ford 351w w/ auto trans

At first I was thinking "torque converter lockout" but then I realized your talking about a standard. Mine is an auto and the trans was acting up between 45 to 50 mph. Come to find out the PCM was getting confused as to what gear it wanted the truck in so the torque converter would engage and...

    My firewood tools

OK, I know this is an old thread but I'm looking into the screw splitters. My main concern is wear life of the screw. Anybody here run one of these long enough to wear one out? The videos on You Tube I've watched scare the crap out of me because those guys wear long sleeves and worse yet...

Anybody got experience haulin wood with Ford 351w w/ auto trans

Yeah, I'd say you got a great deal. One thing that is a must for that booger is a fuel pressure pump. It can save you the cost of a new injector pump. A lot of good info at dieseltruckresource.com and great prices for parts at rockauto.com

Anybody got experience haulin wood with Ford 351w w/ auto trans

That reminded me of a guys post on Dieseltruckresource.com who was asking about a fuel pressure issue. Someone told him a lift pump pressure gauge is a must if he wants that VP-44 IP to last. He replied back saying that was not an option since the Cummins was out in the middle of a farm field...

Anybody got experience haulin wood with Ford 351w w/ auto trans

If it's in good shape then that's a great price. That is if it has the Cummins. My 99 is still valued at around 16,000. There was a guy who had one advertised for 18,000 with 140g on it and it was a 2500. One bonus for that early of model is the simplicity compared to newer models. One thing I...

Anybody got experience haulin wood with Ford 351w w/ auto trans

If you can find a decent Cummins Stage I or Stage II for a little more you will get your money back pretty quick in fuel mileage and the auto trans in them is actually better than the standard. I've got a 99 Stage II 1 ton DRW and I'm getting average 23 mpg highway. Aside from a new injector...

Firewood selling was in full swing over T-Day week

Well, get ready for round 2 because we have another blast coming Thursday the 5th. I have a little wood left from two years back because it's been so mild here in Humble. I'm wondering what kind of Jan. and Feb. we have in store for this winter. We need a cold one to knock back the mosquitos and...
