    24 hour burn

I can easily get 24 hour burns out of my Blaze King "King" model, with oak and locust on a low setting, however it is a CAT stove with a 4.3 cub Ft. firebox. -mark

The very best tractor attachment for loading firewood into trucks with a tractor is?

LOL. That pic was from 3 years ago. She now has 650 hours on the clock and guess what...still looks pretty new! I know how you feel about wanting more power, sometimes I wish I did..but the M59 is quite powerful for it's size and I can get most things done. Now a mini-excavator is my new...

The very best tractor attachment for loading firewood into trucks with a tractor is?

I couldn't say. I don't think you could reliably get the same quantity each time. It varies by the "bite". You get the most when you can engage the claws and pinch the wood...it doesn't really scoop like a bucket very well as the wood will fall out over the sides. I would think an even more...

The very best tractor attachment for loading firewood into trucks with a tractor is?

I use a standard root grapple with double arms and extra tines welded into the bottom. I like this style because it can also be used to move sticks around the yard. Some wood does get stuck in the bottom tines, but its not enough to interfer with loading a truck or trailer. Most of the debris...

    Bundle Sellers...got a UPC..?

well, maybe I'm wrong then, but I thought the UPC was manufacturer specific...not just product specific.

    Bundle Sellers...got a UPC..?

I think UPCs are manufacturer and product specific....you might want to contact the Uniform Code Council to see what it takes to obtain one. -mark

Who makes a 8 Way Log Splitter or larger?

You're gonna have to check with Built-Rite, but last I checked they're running up over 10K. They're bascially half of a small processor. PM me if you want more info. -mark

Who makes a 8 Way Log Splitter or larger?

4 seasons, Alot of this will really boil down to what kind of wood you have access to, and what size finished splits you need to produce. Pushing wood through a 6-way wedge takes quite a bit of power and puts a ton of pressure on the splitter. If you get lots of knotty or twisted grain wood...

    Mingo paint marker ??????????

I've got one and I'm kinda on the fence about it. In order to get consistent marks, you need to make sure you hold it at the same angle and apply some down pressure..othewise the wheel may slip on the bark of certain species of trees. They should have made one with little pin spikes. -Mark

    Firewood Grapple by Blockbuster

There are LOTS of grapple manufacturers out there. Gator is a popular brand with compact tractor owners. Given that your machine has a 2000lb lift capacity, I would recommend a lightweight grapple so as not to reduce your lifting capacity. For grappling firewood, you really don't need a super...

    ATV tires......

IMO, buy them online or from a good local dealer. Best all around tires, again IMO: 1. Pitbull Rockers 2. Maxxis Bighorns Expensive but fantastic all purpose tires. -mark

Timber wolf 5 or a super split type spliter

I think I detect a case of SS-Love! I gotta run one of these things to see how it compares. Angelo, you need to lend me your machine for a week so I can report back my findings  -mark

    High class, stuck-up stoves.

Most women that I speak to about nice looking woodstoves like the Hearthstones. Or if they're brand conscious and need a name they recognise then Jotul. I know when I put the blaze king in the living room I got hell for months! Ha.

    ATV ?'s

A, I think they are kind of hard to compare...apples to oranges if you ask me. Tractors can push, pull AND lift logs. They can pull HARD. ATVs can pull, but nowhere near as much. If you want to go riding and play...the ATV is the way to go. However, there is NO legal riding in NJ...

The age old question. What log splitter to buy.

Overall it works very well, the only thing I would change is the price! Splitters are expensive! I did take a look at the split right. I went with the Built-Rite because I felt I was getting more bang for the buck and it offered me more options with the wedges. I also liked the fact that...

The age old question. What log splitter to buy.

I have a Built-Rite 24HPWS-D. The closest competitor unit from Timberwolf would be the TW-6/7. With respect to build quality and fit-finish I think they are very similar. The primary differences would be: 1. The Built-Rite 24 has a single stage pump, Timberwolf is a two stage. 2. The...

    NorthernTool 4.5 x 24 cylinder question

Does anyone know what size fittings are needed to connect hoses to the cylinder on this unit? It seems they're not "standard". I thought most ports were 1/2" NPTF ? Tx, Mark

I have a 0-6000psi gauge AND a "35 ton" Huskee Speeco....I will take measurements and report the findings...i just need a couple days to get time to rig it up. -Mark
