    Back-yard chippers

I do not know where in Pa. you are located, I have seen a chipper like that at an equipment service shop in Warrington Pa. that does repairs for Asplundh and Davey etc. The chipper has been sitting there for a couple of years now, not sure if its for sale.

looking for timber buyers in pennsylvania or close

There is a sawmill just north of Doylestown, I believe it is called Heacock lumber. I am not sure how well they pay but, the tree service that I worked for in the past would bring their logs there.

Andy, I just noticed the lack of an orange tip, I am sure you are correct. Sorry for the misunderstanding.

Chuck, Just rebuilt the carb on my 066 with a kit from baileys and was wondering the same thing. The saw is running fine with the new metal needle.

    MS200t throttle linkage

Had one given to me apart in a box one time, that took a long time (and many beers) to figure out. That pic would have been a lot of help. Thanks.

    Frozen Chipper Hydraulics?

Get an exhaust hose like one at a service station designed to go through the garage door and hook it up to the truck and direct it towards the chipper.

    Whats your best saw?

Has to be the good old 044.

    Air leaks and clogged mufflers

A large air leak will also mess up the impulse signal and not allow the carb to pump the fuel out of the tank causing a lean condition.

Is a homelite C5 automatic oil?

Moe: Use thinner oil when it is cold to prevent a sore right thumb. Dont ask me why I know.

    Homelite C5

My C-52 has a 28" bar on it with Stihl rs, seems to run it fine. Very loud saw.

    buying cylinder/pistons

In addition to my last post, Baileys did not have a kit available for my saw, it was an older model with the smaller piston pin diameter.

    buying cylinder/pistons

I just rebuilt an 044, the piston pin diameter is the difference between the two different piston and cylinder kits. Both of the cylinders had a hole for the compression release and came with a plug and gasket if it was not needed. The kit cost me (from the Stihl dealer) $250.00.

MS 260 on the way out?

MS 260 I was at the local dealer today to try to purchase an adjustable carb for my 026 pro, and was told that the WT-426 carb was not available? Has anybody heard this one before?

    Vintage sears saw

I have a slightly newer Sears saw (orange in color) that looks just like that saw. It turns heads when you run it, but it weighs a ton, it is loud as he**, and slow. My saw has a 18" B+C on it.
