Let it sit overnite fill oil in AM than try to turn over by hand (turn front of crankshaft ) if you can get a full revolution you should be OK it might smoke a little Stay safe

Just picked up a used mansfield soapstone wood stove. I have been using it for a week with a lot less heat than my smaller jotel steel stove wife and dauthers are not happy what am I doing wrong ? HELP:msp_confused:

Problem with gas leak. when fueling saw gas will drip out other side (downside). also fill tank let it sit for a day (gas smell) next morning you have about half a tank. HELP

I know I am going to hear it (all the bad) but last year Ihooked up a outside air intake to my stove. What a differance it made no cold air rushing down stairway &got heat all the way to back bedroom witch never got before with any fan configuation.

moving some stacked wood and found it full of ants is there some trick of the trade to prevent this? don't want them in the house next winter thanks

i have a chance of gitting free locoust next weekend never burned it befor wondering how much heat ? how long to season ? is it worth it ?

the best thing i did I did a lot of research found good and bad. well finially did it took about one hour - hole saw- dryer duct. THE BEST THING I DID. heats the whole house with no drafts and no problems two years now.
