Even honey locust cant stand up to its own thorns

I had almost 9 cord of logs dumped at my house 3 + yrs ago of honey locust. Seen several with thorns in the middle of the heart wood. I'm just glad that these were logs. All limbs and branches were removed and only had to deal with a few needles. Great firewood though. I'm still burning...

My Vertical Log Splitter with Table and Log Lift

Think you need 3 splitters. Vertical, horizontal, and SS. For me the SS needs to be raised 6" for it to be comfortable.

    Hot blast enemy or friend

3000+ sq foot new home. Kuuma Vaporfire 100. Love it! Wouldn't go any other way. Load at 6am before work. Load @9pm before bed. I only put a partial load in on really cold days (single digits) when I get home from work @5.

Oklahoma,AR,MO,KS,TX GTG (Next GTG 08/27/2016 ) Fort Scott, KS

I had a 96 f150 lariat with the 5.4L Triton engine. I had major issues with the first engine at 90k miles. Cam phasers and cam bearings shot. Warranty company replaced it with a used engine that has 70k miles on it. I put 10k miles on it and cam phasers went out, plugged cat converters, and...

Longwood Duel Fuel Furnace Mark VII Manual

No. The furnace is an air tight furnace. When your thurmostat calls for no heat it closes the damper shut. Wood then smolders inside furnace causing creasote.

PSG caddy vs Jack vs Kuuma Vapor vs Napoleon HMF150 --yes, another "help me pick a wood furnace"

Perhaps a friendly call to them directly and talking with them would be the best. Messaging them on here may go on deaf ears as they are extremely busy...

PSG caddy vs Jack vs Kuuma Vapor vs Napoleon HMF150 --yes, another "help me pick a wood furnace"

Dude..... Who put sand paper on your toilet seat this morning? He asked to know about certain furnaces. Not for you to over analyze his situation and make something out of nothing... He obviously bought a furnace. Doesn't work right. Getting a new one.

PSG caddy vs Jack vs Kuuma Vapor vs Napoleon HMF150 --yes, another "help me pick a wood furnace"

I too don't know where you're going with this. He asked for input on people that own those specific furnaces. I don't know why his goal of finding a furnace that uses less wood would be a "slippery slope"? Obviously you can buy a car that gets better gas mileage and get the job done. You...

PSG caddy vs Jack vs Kuuma Vapor vs Napoleon HMF150 --yes, another "help me pick a wood furnace"

I have a Kuuma VF 100 and love it!! Some of the things I enjoy: 1. Long burn times. I load at 6am and 9pm. Only when it's in the single digits do I need to put a small load in when I get home from work. 2. CLEAN burns. I am on my 3rd yr of burning with the Kuuma. I have yet to sweep my...
