    i have a philosophy on saws and lending them out as well.....i once loaned my 272 to a guy and gave him the oil to mix with the gas and told him exactly what to do....he brought the saw back and gave me my full bottles of oil.....said he had a buddy who all ready had gas mixed...

    a loop of woodland pro 20nk from Husqvarna Chainsaws, Outdoor Power Equipment and Tree Care Supplies from Bailey's i think a loop will cost you 11 or 12 bucks....the chain has met my purposes...and it cuts fairly fast...give them a call, theyre the best bunch of guys and gals

    066 muff

    guys mentioned in posts of yesteryear that some mufflers, when baffle boxes were removed, the muffler would crack due to the vibrations of that saw.....i left mine intact, and drilled 2 big holes, one above the other.............and removing it, did look like a lot of work. guff

    Husqvarna 3120 XP Help!

    brad, you are exactly right..its the same hole..i think it's supposed to be for that shot of grease....my 3120, when i took it from the stumper to run my 42", gave it a shot and if i remember correctly, it's more than a dimple at the end of the crankshaft....it just doesn't go to where it should...

    my 2001 model.....the hole goes to nowhere....the saws main purpose is as my alpine powerhead, but that is of no importance.................whats with these colors and stuff...ive been here since 2003, i suddenly like long walks and fresh flowers!!:hmm3grin2orange:

    yep....same thing i have been looking at.....and the point i have isnt shown on the schematic....to the bottom left of the oiler however it does show the upper handlebar mount.... on the breakdown of the gas tank, there is no rubber shown either

    heres a couple pics... i have checked over www.partstree.com and couldnt find one in the parts breakdown, and, well as checked in with a local husqvarna wanna be dealer.........i am told that this location has no rubber mount, but, yes, the outer side of the fuel tank has its circle to hold...

    $1.49 Ethanol Tester - Available locally!

    this is my 40:1 mix of stihl hp and bp fuel in north georgia.....says " may contain up to 10% methanol" after an hour, still not fully phase seperated and still cloudy.........way above ten percent on the vile...... now, i always check my fuel before i run it a couple of puffs of dark...

    my father's generation used to tie a child molester to a tree out in the woods...then remove parts of him with some bolt cutters.........didnt even have to involve alcohol...but, you could bring a chainsaw, even a poulan..
