    192t or 200t

the way i see it is that the 192 is lighter to climb with but as for the 200, the couple extra pounds they weigh is made up in power. they are overall way better. the 192 is ok for just pruning smaller limbs but they bog down easily when cutting anything that takes up half of the 14 inch bar...

Sharpen the chains or buy new?

hahaha, get one of those roller file guides that husqavarna sells and the correct files for your saw. they sell the kits with the guide, 2 files and a file for the rakers and a nice file handle. use that chain till there is nothing left to file. if sharpened properly the chain will cut almost...

How to keep a spar on the stump

what i have done in the past many times and worked is use a wide snap cut. make your face cut just under half way thru, make your back cut about 3-4 inches higher. it will normally snap off and sit on the ledge of the cut. also depends on how tall the spar is and weight. you might want to...

    Having trouble cutting pine trees

personnally my input on safety chains, dont like them, slows down wood cutting. they are just to reduce kickback. if you dont have to much experience dealing with saws or kickback then use a safety chain.

I just found a sub for stumpgrinding

read the "starting at" price. that does not mean he will do all stump for that price. that would be the minimum price for the stump(assuming a small stump). that means that prices will vary from stump to stump. that doesn't mean that price for all stumps. i have done small stumps at that price...
