Ideas on how to keep rows from tipping over

Use ratchet straps and long heavy duty springs. Attach the spring to an anchor point on the left wall. Put the ratchet straps over top of the row. Attach to the spring and the other end attach to an anchor on the right wall. The spring is there to keep the strap tight during shrinkage.

Best Wood Heating Option for 3500 sqft New Construction

I'd really look into the insulation of the home prior to jumping the gun and choosing a wood stove... Sorry if you've already chosen to spray foam your new build, I didnt catch that in your intro or question. Stay away from an outdoor stove. Build the house (open floor plan) around the...

    Catalyst stove for pole barn

I agree that it's rather silly not to have a wood stove in a shop. Regarding your shop stove, do you have to play around with it much if you step away, leave for a while or just leave it burn? I've had older stoves and never developed a trust with them to keep them burning so I was always...

    Catalyst stove for pole barn

I agree the stove in the shop doesn't have to please the eye and function is the utmost important factor. What model of stove should I be looking for? The stove won't run 24/7. Truthfully, Probably only a couple days a week. The barn would also be a place to hang out with family and friends.
