You can never have too many... Keep them both!!! I know that I have seen some people that have pinched their main saw in wood and used their back up saw to get the other saw out... Really it has never happened to me.....:msp_rolleyes: LOL!!!!!! Keep it and join the club. CAD is a fun thing, but...
I have a Echo power head with the extension and a pole saw attachment. That think is great and it even out cuts a friends Stihl 110r kombi. Also you can't beat there warranty. I know I am going to get harassed, but I like the Echo stuff.
I have a 7 pin 3/8 on my MS460 with a 25" bar. I can lean on it hard before it starts to bog... As K7NUT said they aren't much money, give it a try and see. You might like it with the extra grunt...
Our local pro shop is now carrying this fuel. It is VP 94 octane ethanol free. I am not sure if it is synthetic or not. I used to use VP race fuel in my no bar drag bike and that is synthetic. Has anyone seen this or used it?
Don't feel too bad... I have a friend that did the same thing with his 394... It was the funniest thing that I have seen when it comes to chainsaws. We did find it, it came to rest about 75 yards in his neighbors yard... When we found we still had tears rolling down our faces, Laughing the whole...
Great looking saw!!! I was looking for one for a while and I found a 038 AVS, it was a homeowner shelf queen saw. I am going to put a magnum top end on it one of these days, it just runs too good to rip it apart. AWESOME job and I love the full wrap handle on it too...
I put a W-194 carb on mine and drilled two more holes in the muffler cover. The picture you can see the factory hole, I just drilled two more the same size. There was a huge difference in performance... It also runs better too. Good luck they are great saws...
I guess the search bar does work... Too funny!!!! The most over rated saw is which ever one that you don't like... I don't care for the brand that starts with the letter H... So they are over rated... LOL!!!!:poke:
Yes the Ms390 will pull a 25" bar but not with any authority... I had one on mine. I droped one 20"+ Maple with it. I swear I could have cut it faster with a cross cut saw... I have a 20" bar on my MS390 with a MM and I have no problems with it...
Looks like a nice saw. It is worth the $100 bucks. Another $100 bucks and you will have a real nice saw that is fresh... Here is a few links for some parts on Ebay.
