    Be Careful Out There

I did the same thing about a year and a half ago, I had a lot of wood to split and not much time to do it, I was moving way too fast and got my thumb between the base plate and an oak log… Long nasty story short they had to end up amputating about an inch off my thumb on my left hand. I guess...

    327PT5S pole saw

I 2nd the echo, I have a older ppt260 I think around 2006, some years I use the hell out of it, other years not so much but it has been one of my most rock solid tools I have ever owned, hasn't broken down once in all these years.

I have this same deal with a guy near me. I roll on to his land, he tells me what tree's I can cut, I drop them, limb them, buck up the logs, load up my half and drive away. He takes care of all the mess and moves his own rounds. great deal for me because I hate stacking and burning all the...

    Atv issues

If it dies when you give it gas but will idle ok you got a very lean cond, maybe a split fule line or its suck'in air some place its not supose to, check all your carb mounts and fule lines and fule filter for a start, if no luck pull that carb and have it re checked. good luck

    Atv issues

Who rebuilt the carb? are they reliable? I think I would revisit the carb first, will it die when you give it gas, that sounds like a lean condition to me. Good luck

    Pole Saw recommendation

I have a echo ppt260 thats about 7 years old, use the #### out of it, fantastic tool never one problem, the extension is rock solid. If I had to get a new pole saw,I'd get another echo,I'm not a big fan of echo chain saws, but a pole saw,I'd buy a echo for sure:clap:
