I did almost the same thing only using the West Coast Saw kit. I didn't open up and gut out the internals as this was attempt 1 to see how it runs with just an extra side port.

Does anyone happen to have the new buffer spring and 3/4 wrap handle? I already purchased the dog kit and chain catch a few years back before I knew about the whole kit.

I just did mine over the weekend. Opened up the side and pulled off the limiter tabs on the carb. Looks like 13990 to 14100 ish on the tach.

I ended up getting the saw fixed several years ago haha! It seemed to stop leaking after I assembled everything including the clutch.

I apologize for just getting to this now. This new page has me all screwed up. The powder coat in question is what is called a Primer, there are several types of primer colors, but this one was the closest.

I checked today and regapped to .015''. It still has the same problem. Now the flywheel key was sheared off a while ago (but it had the same problem prior to this), but I am still able to scribe witness marks on it for assembly and check to see if it moved at all and it hasn't gone anywhere...
