    im sold on maxflow filters...just figured id vouch for em...i can get two days cuttin in the dirtyest of conditions cuttin with em...i can even be a little lazy with the 660 and get a third day out with almost an unnoticeable power loss...then i wince when i pull that faded orange hood...

    I changed my mind

    chainsawing is hard work,but if your saw is dull it is really hard!(learned that the hard way)after a few years falling i think i have a pretty good grasp on hand filing,now i am able to just carry the weight of the saw around and pull the trigger,if anything i prefer to be pulling the saw out...

    i agree,i put a good amount of tape around the plastic stop thingy just in case my tape gets away from me,but i am a firm believer that you need that "hinge effect"to snap a tape out of the bark.when i used to tape my tapes a foot or so up 9 times out of ten where the tape ended it usually broke...

    i hear you there mike,i dont think the stuff i got caught in was quite quarter size,but all nickel for sure!i had a chevy shortbed at the time with no headliner in the cab,and on the full throttle run just to make it out of the woods,my falling partner and i could litterally yell at each other...
