Pioneer P41, not much oil coming out on the bar?

Okay, got the oil rails/channels cleaned out, gave it a pull and checked the oil flow, took a close look at the little + & - at the oil screw, and discovered that COUNTER-CLOCKWISE will INCREASE oil flow. All good now. Thanks TLG!

Pioneer P41, not much oil coming out on the bar?

Thanks! The saw was left for dead, I found it, repaired the rope, fresh gas, plug, and whammo! I've been using it every time I got some firewood that needs a 32" bar. Dinnertime, so I'll make those checks and get back, either way, good or bad.

Pioneer P41, not much oil coming out on the bar?

I enjoy this saw, even if it's a dinosaur. I just finished cutting up a big alder, and it seemed the bar was kinda dry. I topped off the bar oil before I started, and afterwards I looked in the reservoir, and still saw about 2/3 of a tank. Gas is almost out. I found the adjustment, turned it to...

My Pioneer wants 24:1, the Jonsered 40:1, Stihl 50:1 etc.

Okay, let me open a can of worms: which is the best value syn 2cycle oil? How about Bailey's house blend?

My Pioneer wants 24:1, the Jonsered 40:1, Stihl 50:1 etc.

I just used the kit I bought the same day I bought the saw, 18 years ago. The damn needle was wrong, but the fuel diaphram was spot on, and that's all it needed to run top shelf again. But seriously, a carb rebuild kit for $8, or the whole thing new for $14 - 20 bucks? I'm trying to stay alive...

I know I'm going to get hate for this, but these guys got my Stihl weed-eater going again for $13.99, and it's the same price for new carb for my 026: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Carburetor-Fits-Walbro-WT-194-Carb-Stihl-MS240-MS260-024-024AV-024S-026-/222033222178

No, if it were a pro, I'd say so. Wish it were, for the adj. oiler alone. One owner saw. It'll 4stroke with 50:1, but not so much with 40:1. The "L" screw gave all it could when I did a partial muffler mod. If I get a two screw carb, then maybe 40:1 and I could finally open up the muffler all...

My Pioneer wants 24:1, the Jonsered 40:1, Stihl 50:1 etc.

Yeah, I noticed my 026 idled faster on 40:1. Unfortunately, only the idle mix screw, so either go back to 50mix, or get a carb with 2 screws.

My Pioneer wants 24:1, the Jonsered 40:1, Stihl 50:1 etc.

I'm using a Stihl branded oil, and mix it at 50:1 for my 026. My other saws have to drink what my Stihl is drinkin'... Will my 50:1 mix cut it for my Pioneer & Jonsered? My understanding is that the newer oils goes further than the two-mix oils used when these saws were first manufactured...

Why pay $$$ for boring "collector" saws? I don't get it...

First, I'm not trolling, just baffled! On my homestead here in the PacNW, my main saw is a 026. Been with me cuttin' firewood for 17 seasons. Bought a new bar for it at year 12. Just gave it a carb kit, it's like a new saw again. Picked up a Jonsered 535 near mint condition a couple years ago...
