    Help dating this photo please!

Thank you gentlemen. In the end, it probably is not my grandpa. Though that guy could be his twin. My grandpa was done working in the woods by 1970 and had opened up a saw shop, which finally closed in 2009. He passed away a few years later.

    Help dating this photo please!

I think that this may be my grandpa (top). Anyone able to identify the model of Mac and what years it was produced?

Be warry of carb kit intake gasket

Yup. I don't know why Tillotson even puts those gaskets in their kits. They almost are never usable... for the reason you illustrated above.

    Chinese aftermarket carbs

    There’s no converting a 61 to a 262xp. 266xp maybe, but not a 262xp.

    Sold no longer available

I could trade this one for it. But I'd like to figure out how to protect myself during the trade. No offense, but you are new to the forum and all. It started out as a 45cc saw. Now is 51cc. http://www.arboristsite.com/community/threads/husqvarna-345-with-353-top-end.302253/ I would...

    Husqvarna 439

I saw one on the shelf at the local dealer this week. I assume that its a rear handle version of the T435...?

    Husqvarna 570 Chainsaw

All good points, but it doesn't mean the saw isn't worth $350. I recently flipped a 570 on Craigslist. It was in very good condition and sold for $400 with a 24" bar and two newer chains. The 570 may not be an "XP" in power, but it IS the same quality. A worn out broke down 372xp may not be...

    Husqvarna 570 Chainsaw

Depends on how nice it is. A pro-quality 70cc current model saw in very good condition is easily worth $350

    Husqvarna 154se mods?

If you still have the top end off, post a picture of the combustion chamber. I know that there were at least two different designs. The cylinder on my 154se has a combustion chamber much smaller than the cylinders on my 254's. Now, this is not to say that the 154 came with the cylinder it...

    Husqvarna 154se mods?

I had to make my own gasket. The piston will make contact with a simple gasket delete. I took a factory gasket and photo copied it onto several different weights of paper and card stock and cut them out for a wide selection for future saws.

    What model is this Jonsered?

Looks like a Jonsered 70e to me. Not sure how to positively verify though.

    Husqvarna 154se First Rebuild

Meteor apparently makes a 254 cylinder kit. I would assume that it will work for the 154SE. Most feel that Meteor is the Best aftermarket manufacturer...as good as OEM...

    Husqvarna 154se mods?

Pics from when I rebuilt my 154SE in 2014. Dry Weight less B&C My home made Brass Worm Gear Puller My buddies home made case splitter. (NOT MY WELDS!!) He made it to split the cases on his 394XP. I had to modify it for the 154SE.

Want to Sell Husqvarna 345 with 353 Top End

My cheapo compression gauge quit working. I'm planning on buying a new quality gauge and a good tach with the proceeds from this saw.
