    Rebuilding a log splitter

Sounds like you have a good start on components. The cooler I have available has a bracket to hold the hydraulic filter along with the filter housing. Coolers are the most missed components in a splitter, everyone relies on the hydraulic tank to dissipate the heat into the hyd oil. Having a...

    Rebuilding a log splitter

RT - Are you still working on your splitter project? One suggestion is to run a cooler - will reduce the air in your oil, keep your temps low and add capacity. I run a 15 gallon hyd tank w/ dual (tandem) 17 GPM pumps and a 25HP gas engine. No issues. I have a low cost cooler for sale - check...

    Scag mower won't engage

Unplug the electro magnet clutch, make a jumper harness with alligator clips, connect one alligator clip to negative post of good 12V battery. touch other alligator clip to the positive post. You will then determine with known good voltage source whether or not your clutch is latching /...

Advanced hydraulics dual pump splitter build diesel mower conversion

Sam - I didn't have time to read the thread, but will suggest an idea since you have a tandem pump (kind of like my project). What you can do is run one pump to your low flow functions including one section for your ram at the 3250 psi then your second pump gets fed to a mid inlet combiner...
