Scooter: how aggressive is the arch in your White's Outdoorsman boots ? I have a pair of the White's Smoke Jumpers and it has taken a while for my feet to get accustomed to their higher arch.

Thanks for the feed back. As Huskyman said, brown is good, but I thought the plug would be all brown. Lesson learned. Did everyone see how fast Andy rolled out of bed to clear up things with his....."HUH? looks perfectly fine to me...". Never too early, or too late, for Andy to help...

A friend showed me some pics of this saw. What should be done ? It had to be running pretty hot so could there also be some seal or bearing damage ? No pic to show, but there was some cylinder damage above the exhaust port. Nothing deep, but several noticeable spots. I do not know the saw...

Just in case someone may have missed the small fine print of PA PLUMBER's post above: "I like the 440 better than the 441."

I thought the Stihl 461 would be announced this year? The 441 has been out over a year, and no problems. Seems like Stihl is brewing up something real nice for the 461; more power and getting some of the new-technology-weight down.

Agree with Trigger-Time. Those are the same part #s I order for my Stihl's. The dawgs are much larger than the small ones that ship with the 440/460. Take a look at his pics and you will see the bottom spike to be lower & longer than the small factory ones, so my saws do not roller over as...

Clearance: Just joking around a little. Friday=end of week. I put a 3/4 wrap on my Stihl 440 and know what you are talking about. I have a full wrap on a Husky so even more to hold on to.

I need to cope with the hills, so I use a Gondo. Good machine, but I wish it had a diesel and larger bed. Oscilates & articulates.
