    Tig welder

Oh, boilermakers.... Pay no attention to them.:D They only know welding in spaces so tight you never get see the whole weld without a mirror. They don't know about real world welding, without mirrors and tape. Cheaters:p

    Tig welder

Not sure what you are getting at here, most pipe joints ooutside of boilers are walked, sure there many you cant, but I dont understand how any of that matters. I was juy speaking to force of arc which allows you to walk faster. Any respectable welder can do both, and can walk a joint...

    Tig welder

Look into Longevity welders. Tig is my gig, and I have one of each, a Miller Maxtstar, Lincoln V275s, Vantage 300, and a SA200.I bought the Longevity 200 when a Miller went for a swim while I was on a job in St. Louis, it has been a great welder ever since. It does not have low amp arc...

    Putting the pain in propane

I think Dalmation hit it on the head. LNG is a byproduct of normal Natural gas refining, nothing special has to be done to reclaim it. I remember last year when we hit peak production, and bottom fell out of raw gas, the price fell 55% in a few months, and our new wells got shut off. They are...

    Putting the pain in propane

Keep breaking rings post install BB kit

No, and I did not do anything to change the timing. I did not enlarge the intake or exhaust ports. I did use a ring compressor.

Keep breaking rings post install BB kit

I got the 85CC BB (Dolmar/Makita 6400) kit from weedeater man, and while I am no 2-stroke tech, I am a pretty handy (I can rebuild a Cummins or build a structure) so I thought after my local saw shop quoted me well over a bill, I would try it myself. Does not seem to be a big deal, watched a few...

I'm not a Mac daddy, but this saw fell in my lap. It runs and looks great! All metal 6 cube saw, something I have never held before. It was like the birth of my child. What do you all know about it? I ran several searches here, and found very limited info. I take it this is a fairly rare find...
