How am I doing with this chain...

its a new chain, cutting green spruce. I'll check the file. So I'm pushing the file down on the handle side when I'm doing it? I should be keeping it more level?? Thanks I'll try again see what you think once I dull it.

Need advice on chain saw purchase...

If i get 6 years out of this saw at 10-20 cords a year I will be happier then a pig in sh!t. I got 6 years out of my 440, i probably could of got another couple years out of it but i was running it more then what it was intended for, and working it way too hard.

Need advice on chain saw purchase...

Why is there 3 models of 562? I was leaning towards the 550xp I feel like i'm too rough on the home owner version of saws. I will still keep and use mt 440.

Need advice on chain saw purchase...

had jonsered turbo.. bought brand new and gave out. never buying another. always has stihl before switching to husky.... just not the same as my husky.. for price and power. I don;t really need a 70 cc saw.. i don;t want another 40 cc saw.. so 50-60 cc i just don;t know what the difference is...

Need advice on chain saw purchase...

I been reading for days and still don't know which one to buy other then it will be a husky. I cut 90% soft wood with some birch. I had the 450 Rancher picked out but now leaning towards the 460 rancher. Whats the difference in the 460 rancher and the xp models?? I have no plans on modding it...

Anyone have drop ceiling above a wood stove?

Clearance is not much of an issue. I guess its over 5 ft. I'm just wondering if i use fiberglass tiles will the heat shrink the plastic covering on them.

Anyone have drop ceiling above a wood stove?

Any issues with it? will be using fiberglass tiles. Have sheet rock up there now but its dated and we cut a few holes in it over the years for access. I really don;t want to put it back.
