    Best muffler mod ever?

Just had to share this. A coworker came to me yesterday and told me he was offered a Husky saw to buy but wasn't sure what it was. Said the sticker on the pull start was messed up and only the first and last number were there. A 3 and then a 1 with the middle number torn off. I said it was...

    Wiseco forged pistons.

Looking to replace my piston in my 371 and found Wiseco made forged pistons for them. Was wondering if anyone has used them or what you think of them. The kit comes with Japanese rings. Thanks for any input.

When to replace a clutch drum.

This drum came off of a coworker's PM605. He said the chain would not move when he tried to run the saw. I had to pry the chain out of it.

    Ryobi 10532 fuel line.

Did a search and couldn't find what I was looking for. Would like to know if anyone knows what the size of fuel line is for the Ryobi 10532? I bought some stuff from the parts store that was close to original and it worked for a short time but swelled up and became useless.

CAD purchases before I knew I had CAD.

Found this lighter at a saw dealer/junk yard a few years ago. I don't smoke but I thought it was cool. I bet some of you out there have similar stories.

    Favorite Husky dealer?

Just wondering if any of you out there have a favorite dealer. I am asking because I am looking at getting a new saw and want to find a dealer that has down to earth prices unlike the guy here in my town. I think I want to try and get a 372 if there are any left. Any suggestions? Thanks in advance.

    266 Crank seals?

I have pulled my hair out trying to get one of my 266's to stay running. Put new fuel line and filter, carb rebuilt and still it will only fire and die immediately. If I feather the throttle it will try to run and will run at WOT. Tried adjusting the carb to match my other 266 and no matter what...

    034 piston question.

Will a piston made for an 034 Super work for any 034? Got a friend rebuilding his and needs a new piston but doesn't want to order the wrong parts.

    Another new saw question.

I know this question comes up alot but I am wanting to get a saw to fill in the gap between my 395 and 266. Was thinking about a 372 before they quit making them or a 385. Don't really want a 576. Any thoughts?

    Is 125 pounds compresion enough?

I have an old 266 SE Husky that I got 10 years ago from a friend who ran straight gas in and locked it up. I put a ring in it and made it live. Lately I have had some trouble keeping it running right. Just out of curiosity I decided to check the compresion and at best has 125 psi. Is this enough...

    Nikasil vs. chrome

New around here and was curious what makes a better cylinder coating, nikasil or crome? I see some replacement cylinders as having nikasil and wasn't sure if they would last as long as chrome. Thanks.
