An elm I helped a guy with in South Dakota

I'll remember that next time haha and yea I spoke with the owner and he said it completely shaded his house and the house south of him as well as covering over half of the neighbors house north of him. I'm sure it was a nice tree before the dutch elm disease got a hold of it.

    Polishing the Crank

It gained it by inertia it says 1.0 somethin horsepower so it seems I'm assuming that is you lose the low end and gain a lot mid-range to top end where someone on a dirt track would keep it. I wonder if you compare a weighted bike with a stock or lightened bike on the street with street treads...

Wont run with R50 mix but runs fine with Stihl Ultra mix :scratching head:

ethanol is the worst thing ever invented in my eyes, it degrades performance, it causes smog, it absorbs moisture in the air and ground (read it up on the net somewhere)(so any ethanol is bad especially if it sits in any equipment for long periods of time), and smells like rotten eggs when it...

An elm I helped a guy with in South Dakota

have you noticed the trend towards bigger pro saws

Bigger is almost always better, I always like bustin out the big saws when I get the chance to when workin for people. But my personal favorite by far is the ms361 it just eats most of what I've cut through without tryin to hard although the sound of a 660 or larger is about like listening to...

    Polishing the Crank

I had a whole list of things to say about counterbalance but these dam two strokes cranks are already off balanced technically not by much but by enough to keep momentum in the right direction I'm sure so if you add more weight to the crank then it'd only make sense it'd just make it more...

    Poulan 4620AV

If you buy this saw either file the depth gages down a little to .028 or .030 cause I thought my saw was a pooch even freshly sharpened till I ordered two WOODLANDPRO 20" (.325 X .050) 20RC 78 they don't have the safety bs that some people probably need but when I put one of these on I cut twice...

    My first cahinsaw rebuild complete!

I sanded it down so all what you see is indented into the cylinder so it wasn't transfer and I wasn't going to sand deep into the wall cause I knew that'd ruin the compression. As for the piston I dunno like I said it's gettin good compression I might just clean this other cylinder up and have...

    My first cahinsaw rebuild complete!

James the Narcoleptic Tree Cutter-the link

I'm thinkin fallin asleep in the tree should've been the last hint that he should've called it a day. Alcohol makes me think I'm bullet proof but I'll admit it at least I'd never be able to climb a tree that inebriated without gear plus he had to of had a lobotomy or somethin cause who thinks...

    14,600 on a 460??

With a good oil do you have to worry about it throwing a piston or rod when it's 4strokin? Or should it hold up without demolishing itself as long as I don't get stupid with it of course I keep hearing the 029 is forged bottom end but,I figured I'd ask before I go and tune my muffler mod.

How to identify an MS390 vs MS310

I agree. I'm new to saws and yet that just sounds way too fishy, and if he did convert it to a 390 somehow by boring and replating or rigging an 039/390 cylinder in it, is he a small motor repair man or just some dude that just rigged it together
