    I noticed saw of the c or Autotune type have a weird popping noise at full throttle. This seems nerve wracking as standard carb saws dont do this.

    I have a Stihl 461. It is all stock. Is there any benefit to adding a dual port or bark box muffler. Is it down to cool factor that it sounds cool by loudness or a true performance enhancer!

    Yes I been through Canisteo several times. Its on the junction of 36 and 248. It is 60 miles from me. I go to Stoneybrook and Letchworth parks that way sometimes. Sometimes to Rochester. The film location is legit. The railroad in the background in some of his videos is NS Southern Tier Line

    Stihl repair help please

    I used this stuff on a CAT engine. The lower liner O ring area was cavitated leaking coolant into the oil pan. . Buffed the area with carbide burr filled with belzona and sanded. Never had a problem again on it. That was on a 3406B.

    That is what I tried two say back in a earlier post. There 501 52 8402. and 503 61 3371. One uses the cast in key on the flywheel and the other woodruff key in the crank. I was trying to isolate crank he needs without a flywheel swap. Simply take the flywheel nut off and see if it has a keyway.

    Crank and cases were changed. Two piece and single piece sometimes had different cranks. There was one that a casted key in the flywheel and one that took a woodfuff key.

    With the recoil removed does the saw have a one or two piece ignition
