If CB Radios were hot what would your saw handle be.

I was never particularily interested in CB, even during the "Craze" in the 70's. I did have C.W. McCall's LP's though, and really like big rigs. My Grandfather was a Ham, from back in the 1930's. One morning, he was on the radio with a guy in Hawaii. The morning of Dec-7, 1941. He was talking...

    Stihl or Husky ?

What do your dealers have? I know of two dealers near me that have Stihl and Husky; both have logs out back for cutting cookies(I usually shop at these two stores). The other dealer has Husky and Echo; they have always have a couple logs for cookies too.

    Stihl or Husky ?

Try them all and see what fits you best. One model Stihl may fit better than a comparable Husky, but in a different size or type saw, Husky may fit better than the same type Stihl. you may find dolmar works better for you. Or a Wildthing:jester: Same thing I say over on the tractor board when...

Just going by what the ad indicates. I know very little about Homelites. Looked up the models you mention; interesting they used reeds in the intake. Why did old saws, and dirbikes, use reeds? One way "valve" for the intake? Still kinda cool; 100cc saw...
