I bought a cheap one at harbor freight about a month ago. It's a neat toy, but I know how long my wood has been seasoning and the species so I could live without it. Played with it the first day and not sure where it is now.

$100 and 130 pds. lighter. Go with cheaper one.

I use stihl promark chaps. I have no experience with the others. I like them and I was able to try them on.

According to the news we have another foot or so of snow coming monday into tuesday. This will be on top of the foot of snow we got last thursday.

I have 2 dolmars (5100s' and 6400)that I use for my go to saws. Found them to be trouble free and have a great dealer in reasonable driving distance. I also have a stihl 290, 210, and 180 along with a couple of old poulans that I enjoy playing around with. I now the stihls are consumer grade...

Yes, the heavier snowfall moved a bit south and east in the KC area. By the time it was in full swing they finally put us in the 8-12 inch zone. We got at least that and I suspect a bit more. Now they are predicting a "measurable snow event" with some sleet and freezing rain for monday.

Looks like it's going to quit for a few hours then the wrap around snow comes in.

As far as the hedge goes, if you can come up with some hedge balls, put them in a bucket when they soften up(ripen) add water, mash and stir, and pour into holes or a trench then cover with soil. Once they start making their own hedge balls the squirrels will spread them for you.

Just closed the airport in kansas City.

Temps are gonna lower after this round of snow and more snow on monday, no idea though how much.

Appears the ice is going to stay a couple of counties east and south of us. I got the generator ready yesterday, just in case. I probably have 7" of snow so far. Interstates in KC are virtually parking lots.

I have about 6" of snow now. That is in about 2.5 hours. Out between ottawa and garnett, on the evil side of the state line, they are reporting 12" of snow.

AMC is closing their movie theaters today. Dang.

I am in on the line between 10-15 inches and 6-10 inches...on one station, in the 10-15 on another . 4 different stations and 4 different predictions, typical. The more snow I get means the less sleet I get. They're getting thunder snow around the area now.

Most things you buy that are in a box whether it's from lowes, mail order or internet purchase, says somewhere to inspect contents upon delivery.
