    357xp spurtin fuel

Thanks, it's not that bad. I just haven't been around saws for awhile, picked a stupid little head scratcher to get back at it. I can't think this won't fix it, I see what's going on now.

Scratch that, it's not ported to the impulse line. Looks like the thought was to have that vented space filtered, noble I guess, but sort of a PITA if you don't know.

    357xp spurtin fuel

Thanks, It's no doubt easier than cutting a tiny hole in butyl, with old eyes and a buck knife. However, since that port is powered by the impulse line I think I will try that first.

    357xp spurtin fuel

Ahh! I see it. The hole is in the carb block, ported (from the impulse line?) into the backside of the diaphragm chamber, and until now blocked by the diaphragm. Now I wonder if that Zama would run on my ported 346, because I really need more projects and an over-powered 50cc saw. I'll get at...

    357xp spurtin fuel

Well, that sounds completely plausible..and fits the symptoms. I don't know if I've seen a hole in the diaphragm before. There was not one in the two kits I have here for this carb, or a couple others here I have for other saws. So, put a hole in the diaphragm? About the size made for the...

    357xp spurtin fuel

I sure wondered more than once if they gave me the right kit (K22-HDA for the HDA198A), the needle is not visibly different than the old. It is not the flywheel key, I've had that happen on huskys as well. Not a key to speak of, just an aluminum bump for alignment. The timing on this saw...

    357xp spurtin fuel

Yeah, well. Nothing worked. Set and re-set.. cleaned and re-cleaned.. two new needles. Still dumping fuel. It's the 357xp with a Walbro, there were historic issues with that carb model for those saws, this one never had those issues - ran great for years. I threw up my hands and just ordered...

    Jonsered 920 parts?

The 930 had the carb cover mounts outboard, where the 920 has one centered over the carb. Meaning the 930 could be easily retrofitted with a cone filter, not so the 920. I have a couple of 920's here, and sluethed a way to make it happen, just have not implemented it. If you look there are...

    Jonsered 920 parts?

You can also replace the studs with 9.5's, available at auto parts store. What you won't find are air filters.

    357xp spurtin fuel

Bingo.. of course, thanks. I thought I was careful in setting it, but I did not mention ham-handed without cause. Might be buggered up one way or another, I'll get back with the results, regards.

    357xp spurtin fuel

Hello folks, been awhile. Been off the saws, I'm a little rusty. Could someone remind me what might be the cause of this: I rebuilt the carb and replaced the intake boot. I leave the saw in a cool place, on the floor. It pushes fuel in to the cylinder and out the muffler. Through the...

Who makes commercial wood or pellet fired boilers?

addm: Why it appears the 500k AHS does not burn cordwood is that it and the 1000k model do not list log capacity. It's for me to figure out otherwise, but that's my first impression.

Who makes commercial wood or pellet fired boilers?

they have pellets or cordwood at their disposal, though I would not rely on the pellet production. I've seen those producers start up and fizzle-out enough. I think they may have a few hand wringers making decisions concerned about having to be Alaskans. First word I got is that there were...

Who makes commercial wood or pellet fired boilers?

I see it the same, in less harsh terms. I'm not sure what their decision process is, I may prod a few more times along the way. edit> the climate in SE AK is pretty mild,, dreary even.

Who makes commercial wood or pellet fired boilers?

nice, thanks, I want one. word is they are going with a ground source heat pump. the project has quite a ways to go, probably will not break ground for another year. plenty of time for them to change their minds. I do not care what they do, but I intend to learn a bit more and pass it along...

Who makes commercial wood or pellet fired boilers?

couple things transpired since I posted this moments ago. they've decided against wood as the fuel source, and, a new pope has been chosen. i'm not sure if the two are related, seems like they might be.

Who makes commercial wood or pellet fired boilers?

I scanned the ad banners, trying to be sure to not step on toes. apologies if I missed something. I am helping someone with a little preliminary planning for a commercial/civic structure in a small town in SE Alaska. The obvious fuel for them is pellets or cord wood, provided they feel...
