    Eagle Trax 40 manlift

I just picked up a Eagle Trax 40 manlift. It fits though a 36" gate and has a 40ft working hight. Great little lift! I do wish I could afford the 76ft LOE lift, but what a good start I think.

    Thinking out loud.

EVERYTHING I run is a stihl with one exception 3120xp! There is no other as far as big saw grunt. STHIL=RPM Husquvarna=TORK. Really though Stihl... Husky....I say if it runs good and it is sharp it don't really mater what the name is on the saw. I melted a Pollan pro 45cc yellow saw, but it...

Seven year climber seeking work near beach.

Hello, I've been climbing for seven years, and operated not just run all tree equipment except for a crane. I can climb without spurs, footlock, and roll SRT. I know that

SRT with Hitch Climber and robot.

Yes that would be great. I used SRT for the first time yesterday to do some lighting adjustments, and change out a fixture. I like the way it worked. I wouldn't mind learning more, if you stop learning your dead.

SRT with Hitch Climber and robot.

That is awesome. The system I am looking at is similar to the tree frog system but you can work the tree SRT also.

Is anyone else using this system? To me it looks like the best thing since sliced bread. I would like to rope walk like Kevin Bingham did on you tube. Also it looks like you have a lot of options on how you can use that system. I am trying to get the rest of the stuff to rope walk now.

    footlocking

That was funny I don't care who you are.

    footlocking

Just started this technique and I love it. Do it at home after work. I am getting good enough that I did it at work Monday. I work with some REALY OLD SCHOOL tree men. They could not believe how fast I got In the top and started working it. I will say that my arms were fried at 50 ft. But...

not sure if he was a pro

right. That's ok if I ever got the call I would get it on for my fellow climbers! I could live the rest of my life with nothing, then to sit on the side lines and see someone die for lack of knowledge of what and why a aerial rescue should be done. Well I guess I would have to be...

not sure if he was a pro

What if it were you....fire and RESCUE would fall so very short in this situation. Where a trained person would be able to get it done. Calling a fire department to a tree rescue is like calling a plumber for an electrical problem. Is there some way to put ourselves that ARE trained in rescue...

not sure if he was a pro

how would we as trained climbers be able to be summoned to the job that these things happen? I know when I was trained in rescue they said that you really only have a short time before someone will die from there injuries in a tree. I also know that if I were to get in trouble on one of my...

That's what I am talking about. The technology is here and techniques are here too. I wish that I could hook up with someone down here to learn more the hands-on way. Climbing.....tree work is ME!
