From what I gather, several of the Aussie guys on here are less than pleased with the 880s filtration vs the 3120. I'm sure more of them will pipe here soon.
Man, that guy in the tree topping it must've damn near crapped his pants when he got tossed around like a ragdoll. I know I would've been freaked out massively, at least. I snickered at lots of these videoes. :D
They protect the front, and a bit of the sides, sort of like a uh... ) around the front of the leg. They're snug-fitting and they stretch, so they're not restrictive and I don't snag them on various pieces of brush when I'm walking around.
And yeah, that's a spruce. :)
They're not so bad, actually. They breathe, believe it or not, and they're like wearing shorts compared to the too heavy, too baggy and too thick old pants I used.
They're also very comfortable, which they should be. They were very pricy!
Posin' time!
Standing around like a tool in front of a snag I felled today. No pics of the actual falling tho, snags ain't the right time to play around, at least not for me.
Nice new cover you got there. I recently got that one for my jred 2171 for the same reason you did, and I really, really like it. In fact, it should come on all versions of the saw as standard, since you don't really sacrifice anything to get better flow.
NE stands for New Edition. I.e the 50 cc version of the saw. The Old Edition (OE for short) was 46 cc if I'm not mistaken.
Edit: Seems I was mistaken, it's 45cc's (See mike's post). Also, beaten to the punch.
Yeah, getting a 60cc saw to replace his 42cc saw when what he wants is a new small-cc saw... that makes sense.
I don't think there is a direct replacement for the 242 cc in the husky/Jred lineup currently. I have to say, I got a 242xp myself and I don't find it to be all that...
