    Question about Taching

My operator's manual suggests WOT between 10,500 and 11,500. (It's an Echo 3450) I just recently opened up the muffler a little bit, not much, but I haven't touched the carb yet. The manual says if it's running above 11,500 to enrich the mixture.... I just tached it, and it's at 10,400...

    About 4 stroking

I've read a lot on the muffler mod threads and tuning threads.... I see a lot of mention about a chainsaw "4 stroking". Can someone explain why that is ideal or not, and how can you tell when the saw starts doing it? I'm assuming there's a sound you listen for.....

    Help Removing Clutch

Thanks again, guys. I have the clutch removed, and the oiler is in my hands. Now, I need to figure the oiler out. It seems there is a bolt at the top of the gear that holds a compressed spring down. Is this an adjustment, I wonder?

    Help Removing Clutch

Hello all. I have an Echo CS3450. Lately, the oil has not been emptying nearly as fast as the fuel. As a result, I've had a time with chain stretching and bar wear. I want to remove the oiler and check to see if there are any blockages, dirt, etc.. Problem is, I have no idea how to...
