    Husky 141 compression?

Well as it turns out there is an air leak, the bottom of the clamshell was broken by one of the bolt holes. Not sure if it worth fixing. Thanks for your help.

    Husky 141 compression?

Thank you. I was thinking the impulse tube and the intake sleeve should be replaced.

    Husky 141 compression?

What is a good compression reading for a Husky 141? One that a neighbor dropped off is showing 130. Is that too low? Runs but only with mix poured in the carb. Has other issues with fuel line and carb I think. Thanks for any input.

    Jonsered 2171 P/C Advice?

Thank you for your input. I will have to work on the seller to get the price to a point where it makes sense. That is the plan, although chainsaw acquisition has nothing to do with sense, or cents!! Frank

    Jonsered 2171 P/C Advice?

Good Afternoon: I may have the opportunity to buy a Jonsered 2171 with a bad piston and cylinder (it was straight gassed) and I have a few questions that I would like your input on: What would be a fair price if the rest of the saw is in very good condition? What cylinder would you use as a...

    Torn meniscus?

I have had knee scopes on both knees (medial meniscus) and it was successful. I still can't climb trees but I couldn't before so that is a wash. Having strong legs to start with and a good physical therapy program is important. In talking to the docs they said that the longer you delay...

    Faulty oil cap on 550XPG

I'm sure that either OSHA or the EPA can come up with a warning light or an ignition cut off that will prevent the saw from working if the oil fill cap is not secure. That should add only another 15 pounds and/or $300 to the saw. Then we can start working on unsecure oil cap over-rides...
