I agree with everyone on checking for correct carb tuning. As a second thought, if you still have problems, check your fuel lines. A partially pinched hose or even a pin hole in your pick up hose will cause erratic fuel feed. I had the exact same problem with my 046 and found my fuel line was...

Not sure about, the 075, i havent come across too many. But for the size, it sounds like a reasonable price. Of course, it would depend on the condition also. As for the other 2 saws, if you can get them for $400, that would be an absolute steal if they both run well! But...... from a sellers...

I recently switched from buying Oregon chains to Carlton. My new saw had a Low Kickback Stihl chain on it, and I had a Carlton made to replace it. The Carltons seem to last longer between sharpenings.
