    Ohio Michigan Members

I'm over near Gun Lake, & willing to take the trip as well. I'm liking the saw/stove shop/dinner idea. Feb or March work for me I think. Or if you all wanna run saws I'm good with that too. A C

At what point did you buy a splitter?

Bought mine when the guy said $ 150.00 cause he didn't wanna spend the $ on a new engine. I just happened to have access to a nice Subaru/Robin free so it was a no brainer. It's fairly small, 20 ton I think & not the fastest thing, but saves time on the harder splitting woods. Saves the...

The weather outside is frightful but the fire is so delightful

Yea, I think the lake saved us. The local weather guy stated that the storm didn't produce as expected, & flat out said " I was wrong on this one". I was really impressed by that. We got 3-4" of snow only, & a really stiff north wind. House is 72* furnace is loaded for the overnight burn & I'm...

    Freebie Big Mac

Hi, I had a 605 with the same issue. A lot of disassembly to fix that stupid tank leak as mark said. Make a gasket, & replace the oil line & filter. That being said, those saw's are reliable, & make decent power for what they are. They're also heavy, loud, & the anti vibe is not great. As long...

    Help, log splitter wont split

Many pumps do have a pressure relief built into them, prolly what you're looking at. Disassemble it carefully, & clean. Put it back together & adjust it slowly, & see what happens. As was stated, a small piece of debris can cause flow by, & lower the pump pressure dramatically. A C

    Stihl 041 AV Problem

As Brad suggested, pull the recoil/tank assy. & look closely @ all the bolts etc. 041's have a way of rattling fasteners loose.May be nothing more than a bolt hitting the flywheel. Mine did this not long after I got it. Easy fix. A C
