If you would ask @RedneckChainsawRepair what size echo fuel line (4mm?) he is using he would prolly tell ya. If you ask real nice he may even give you the nylon barb and duck bill part numbers to make up a proper vent. Definite must have on these series.

I would verify the auto oiler is working first. They have known diaphragm issues before putting money in it. NLA.. Performance wise a very strong saw. Filter is available aftermarket. Cover I might be able to help. If you part it out I may also have some interest. Thx.

Isn't the intake manifold secured to the top cover/handle ass on that saw. And it moves separately from the crankcase if I remember correctly?

Grind down a socket with three fingers to engage into the clutch spider. Don't forget left hand threads. So righty loosey. Also the fuel tank grommet goes soft on that model and likes to leak. You can source a replacement grommet from McMaster- Carr under military compatible grommet sizing. Hope...

Totally agree with your assumption. Too many small particles are embedded in the piston. You can imagine what toll that has taken on the rod bearing that you can't see. Only a guess. For all you know that crank may have a slight bend to it as the counterweight is heavily gouged.

I have a metal flag clutch/brake ass. I believe the cover is nos with a used metal flag. It's stashed so I will dig it out if interested.

My suggestion is to sale it to me as a parts saw. I could use some of those parts.
