Appropriate steps to detur firewood thieves

I think your doing the right thing for sure. I would light up the back yard like a pro football stadium at his next get together. I think you said he likes to smoke grass as well. do they have kids? At his next fire night call the police for the illegal drug activity going on. You know they are...

    lets see them motorcycles

Vintage days is Jul 9-12, they switched back to where Vintage days is before superbike. Last year superbike weekend was first and the attendance was atrocious, looked like a ghost town to previous years.

    lets see them motorcycles

I have a "few" bikes as you can see. Sat May 15th I'm leading a ride down to the New River Gorge area of WV leaving from New Philadelphia, OH at 9am if any one local would like to come along. It's a 536 mile trip for me and so far I have around 10 riders joining me.

Clearing land and skidding with a Jeep

The jeep in the pictures is not even registered for the road, it's his play jeep. As far as the stumps we might try the Swedish candle method, cut them flush, or maybe just cover them with more dirt we will be moving anyhow. The dozer is much slower than the jeep and uses about 3 gal of diesel...

Clearing land and skidding with a Jeep

I do believe that 1 is hard maple, we have cut oak, cherry, and poplar as well. The Jeep is faster than the loader, we will be using it for stump removal though.

Another view. Almost all the way. Haul #2 Making firewood. The result. It was a fun day for sure and it will take us a couple years to finish the final product.

Clearing land and skidding with a Jeep

A friend and I are clearing his land to make our own private MX track on his property. He has a wood burner in his home so all the hardwood will be going to good use. I have been hauling the pine to my place for my backyard firepit. We have already dropped many trees and now it's just a matter...

    Chainsaw photography

Not True, I own several Sony DSLR bodies and none of them use memory stick exclusively. The higher end models can use a combination of Memory Stick, CF, or SD, my A200 has a slot for CF only. I use Sony PC's/laptops and they do interface nicely with their cameras and software.

    Pic of your ugly mug

The ZRX is mine and this is the rest of my group, we had a pretty diverse collection that day and out total mileage was around 625 miles. We always seem to do these as a "1 day wonder trip" but I would like to camp someplace down there this year.

Could a Sunday afternoon get any better?

+1 that was great racing. My only question is when did Suzuki start making hardware that could compete in the world series? The Supercross after was pretty good to but I still like outdoors better.

    Whats a good Axe?

I just picked up this Husqvarna for around $70, not the cheapest but it did come with a great edge on it already and a nice sheath.

    T-Handle Allen Wrenches

For T handle wrenches I do like the SnapOn's, not cheap but I do use them mostly for motorcycles and the do fit perfect in the heads. I do have a few different styles as they are used in many places on bikes so I like to keep my options open. The ones I use the most are the kind that I use with...

    Chain Cutter Glint

Thats a great shot of the "Texas Tornado" above and he is still 1 of my favorite riders today. I still love all forms of motorcycle racing but these days I shoot 90% MX because I have quite a few tracks close to my home.
