Here is an old thread on the subject of 3/8 .050 vs .063 . The kerf of width of the cut I believe would be .013 wider on the .063 chain, https://www.arboristsite.com/threads/3-8-x-050-vs-3-8-x-063-chain.24774/
I did not go look at my 025 yet, but just remembered . try spraying small amounts of cleaner spray in different spots to see if RPM changes to find leaks. Here is a clip I found. And afleetcommand on utube has a trouble shooting vid somewhere on trouble shooting leaks.
You can use the search to read up on how to make your own test equipment for cheap. You really just need to make a block off between muffler and cylinder with a piece of rubber . And block inlet to carb. Not sure on the 025 , but maybe make a temporary impulse line with a tee in it for the...
I found this recent thread I have been reading, may be what your lookin for. https://www.arboristsite.com/threads/easy-big-gains-for-cs-590.356420/page-2#post-7646629
I have made my own to put Stihl bar on Husqvarna saws. Use a metal strip about 1mm thick and as wide as the bar thickness . Bend it around the studs to make an S shape. Maybe 1mm x 3mm? Or a piece of the flat silver solder brazing rod. You just want to take up the gap between the studs and the...
I searched that number and this came up. I think your bar is .050 acording to this. https://www.arboristsite.com/threads/husqvarna-14-bar-chain-501959252-3-8-pitch-050-gauge-52dl-includes-oregon-91vxl052-chain-25.319217/page-2
I would not worry about it. You will have plenty of other parts to find for all the other projects saws you find yourself working on if keep looking around and reading on ArboristSite. LOL ! I think the cs-590 is a decent saw and you will only need common stuff like fuel line and spark plugs. If...
I would think parts for a common saw like that would be available for a long time. There are lots of 3/8 .050 70dl chains available. Bars are D176 mount size ,and it just has a 3/8 7 tooth rim sprocket right?
No luck in my area. Manager says it is a store by store thing so call ahead. I was going that way anyhow so no big deal. Thanks for heads up Counselor ! I have got many deals at tractor supply over the years. About 5 years ago the stores by me switched from Jonsered to Husqvarna equipment and...
I would throw that bar, rim sprocket, and chain away and get new ones. They do wear out. Your clutch drum looks ok. I run a 20'' 3/8 .050 on my 036 that is similar to your 361
