    Fwiw the only research supporting the use of treating wounds with Lac Balsam is by the manufacturer. That I am aware of. Anything change?

    Pretty sure Dyneema doesn't conduct. I was told this by EUSA employee. Has to be dry like others have said.

    Air is what stimulates the biochemical reactions/chemical barrier to occur so the tree is protected from insects and pathogens. The tar or black stuff is known to promote infection due to it being impermeable.

    plastic chainsaw case repair help

    Stainless piano hinge and self tapping pan head screws or rivets. I have two done like this and the one is going on 15 yrs. The hinge is holding up and the plastic is one layer thick in places.

    I've seen them jump +- 10' onto roofs, gonna have to screw down sheet metal or heavy wire mesh or bigger critter are next. Bats can sure foul up things in a house to. I'm just waiting for freezing rain.
