Changing Husky 450 bar/chain/sprocket worth it?

A buddy just bought a Husky 450. It has the .325"x.058" chain on it and looking at some of the on-line suppliers that size isn't as popular as .375"x.050", and the chains are more expensive. If it's possible (I don't know if a bar and sprocket is available) would it be worth it to switch to...

    Best Echo Chainsaw

I've had a CS-340 for 23 years, bought it new. Had to work on it once - needed new primer bulb and fuel lines. I wore the dogs off of the saw. If I need to cut something 12" and smaller, that is the one I grab. Never fails to start, great fuel economy, light weight.

    Utilizing accumulated woodchips.

If you are going to use them to make compost or want them to biodegrade faster, you need to add a lot of nitrogen to them. That will feed the organisms that help break down the wood.

Need Help Racoons and Sweet Corn!

Last year I believe I trapped over 25 cats. They were whizzing in the out buildings and NOT catching the mice (had a mouse problem). All feral. I actually saw 2 cats and had no idea there were that many around. Only two were female, the rest were Toms. They'd start hissing and growling when I...

Need Help Racoons and Sweet Corn!

Never a possum or dog. I did catch a cat once, but I was targeting the animals that were getting into the bags of fish food, so the cat was a target animal.

Need Help Racoons and Sweet Corn!

The Z trap DP traps are both push and pull. Between putting them around the neighbors chicken pen and where I store the fish food I am up to 23 this year.

Need Help Racoons and Sweet Corn!

I use the Z-Traps Dog Proof Traps. (DP Traps) I baited some with the commercial fish food pellets I use, and they worked great. Used some mini-marshmallows and had two of the traps set off but nothing caught. You could use cat or dog food too in the DP traps. They make a cover that goes over the...

    Eggs

Walp, I don' t have to worry about the neighbors chickens any more. Closing on the house was yesterday, so they are the new neighbors problems now. They won't be a problem because he said he's not keeping them. Been there, done that he said and wasn't going to repeat the experience.

    Eggs

No experience with fermenting feed but I do have experience with 'coons. I'm watching the neighbors birds until their house is closed and the new owners take possession which is supposed to happen the end of the month. Well, Tuesday night the coons chewed a hole in the chicken wire about 3' off...

    ELECTRIC FENCE FOR MICE

You can make your own "poison" that is safe for dogs and cats. Mix equal parts biscuit mix and baking soda. It kills them because they can't pass gas and they die. Another buddy mixed Plaster of Paris with corn starch. The mice ate both, the plaster of paris set up in their intestine. They...
