    SuperSplit rack return issues...

Yes, we do that some of the time... Maybe processed 150 cords of the 400 or so we've bundled so far this season...

    SuperSplit rack return issues...

I don't think that means the bearing is ineffective , rather that it's just an item that needs to be monitored... If the groove is in the I-beam, it's not a design flaw - it's operator neglect. The groove doesn't begin to wear into the beam until the bearing is seized up, and not rolling. I...

    SuperSplit rack return issues...

I'll have to remember how to post pics on here, it's been a while... Repairing the wear in the beam is pretty simple for the most part, just depends on how extensive you've let the damage get before addressing it. If it 's not too bad, you can leave the splitter mostly intact, just take out the...

    SuperSplit rack return issues...

I don't get on here too much, but this thread caught my eye. To Qualify myself, I've been running Super-Split machines for just over 10 years. 2 of the 4 I own are over 30 years old. In the 10 years I've been doing commercial firewood, we've processed over 12,000 cords. I have owned...

So what kind of Mill comes with a pair of Stihl 090AVs??

I actually went by a dealer today that I hate going to, as I needed a sprocket and some other oddities for my 660 and they were somewhat on the way to the timber. They had a 440 on the shelf for $929.00... talked him down to $849, with 20" bar and a couple chains (though they are RM chains)...

So what kind of Mill comes with a pair of Stihl 090AVs??

Well If you don't mind checking..... I squished mine the other day, I'm gonna rebuild it as I can find parts, but I used it daily, I'm filling its void with an old 066 I have, but it just ain't the same, I'm SOOO use to the 440 in its element. Not trying to hi-jack your thread, sorry!!

    Squashed my 440..... What now??

I have nothing against other brands, but with the other saws I have, parts I carry, and dealer location - sticking with stihl just makes sense for me...

    Squashed my 440..... What now??

    Squashed my 440..... What now??

It was a freak accident, and a sad, sad day, as a 5'+ dbh burr oak took the life of my poor little 440... I didn't have time to tear it apart, but It got at LEAST the muffler, handle, brake handle, and gas tank. Initial inspection made me think the head, and motor survived. I THINK I bought...

    Bundle Sellers...got a UPC..?

Unless your customers have requested it, I dont think I'd worry about it... Ive sold close to a million bundles without one and its never been an issue for me, though our customers/market may be different. Generally, our products are outside of a store, and dont have to physically go to the...

    Made some new truck sides

Yeah, I can get panel "seconds" for 10.99 per panel, theyre usually 15' instead of 16, but I dont care. Then there's a guy south of me that has seconds on tubing and different odd-ball metal, which is $0.30 per pound. I had to get some channel at the high-dollar metal joint, but all in all I...

any body burn wood pallets or skids in your wood stove

I use them in my OWB all the time. We ruin about 150-200 skids every yeah in my bundle business, but we have an endless suply, so when a skid gets to trashed to easily use, we'll bust it uo enough to through in the OWB, or save it for bonfires. I dont worry about nails, i just dig them out of...

    I need a bigger truck.

3800 is CRAZY high. they rarely see over 3000. 400-600 is more normal when cranking. What pressure does it read when you're NOT cranking, just have the key in the run position??

    I need a bigger truck.

Scott, as to your no-start 550, I've got a friend that just scrapped a bunch of psd busses, and pulled all the IDM's etc. If you need one PM me and I'll see if has any. If its the cam-pos sensor, the tack wont move at all while cranking. . . . I've had 2 times a truck wouldnt start, after...

Is this really happening **Off topic**

Wow, I am very sorry to hear this. Sometimes I get down, and feel that I have it rough, but stories like this make me realize how selfish I can be, my losses are minimal compared to yours. Try to stay strong man!!
