thanx..put nut on flush wit end of crankshaft,couple light taps,came right off!thanx again..

I have removed the nut on the outside of the shaft.does the clutch turn off?what direction? or is the shaft splined?thanks in advance

Good job,mine is almost identical to yours ,youll hafta get the limiter tab off carb then tune.you will be suprised what a MM can do to this little saw!

I just muffler modded my ms250,tuned it a little while ago,it sports a 16"b/c,test wood was 12" oak and im for sure puttin on a 18" b/c..325.just my 2 cents..

I just completed my first porting of a saw this week also,so from one beginner to another,measure twice-grind once,I ended up using a file more than my dremel, i didnt want to over due anything, i ported mine to 60% of bore diameter and am satisfied.good luck and go slow

MY nephew was kind enough to bring me a saw to get running that belongs to his friend,found recoil rope was bound inside (fixed)got it running so-so, hafta replace gas line,pick up screen was laying in tank,need to know what the gas ratio is for it,can i just use 50-1 and adjust carb...

isnt straight gas damage most often on the intake side?ice is about 30 inches thick now, claims he drilled about 25 holes (10")holes then it seized,he said it smelt pretty hot before she locked up??
