My 550xpg done the same but not so much in the cold when used the most. Longer it idled the bigger the bog and even black smoke. 2 different dealers looked at it . Took it apart myself to find the inlet lever setting way above the carb body and not level as the service manual states. Been great...

Done exactly the same lever adjustment on mine a couple weeks ago. Been to 2 different dealers and seemed ok after last computer update. Most of my cutting is in cold temps but lately I it started its bog if idled more than 10 seconds like when new .Idle for a minute would blow black smoke lol...

My 576 xpg auto tune would starve for fuel and quit this past winter and hunt idle a little.gas line looked good but since I’ve replaced it no issues since. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

My 576 xpg has always ran just over 150 psi since new. You have to remember manual says 87 octane fuel is ok so your not going to see 180 psi like my 288 that calls for minimum 91 octane. 576 is so much smoother that 288 that puts your hands to sleep lol Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

Update was done well over a year ago. Cold start ,then let it idle for minimum 30 seconds then 0 hesitation. Now another forum said Stihl 261cm was perfect and didn’t need idle time to warm up and rev with no hesitation but friend has 261cm new style that needs same idle time as my 550...

Just checked my 550xpg that’s perfect with a new compression tester and got 90 psi as I have to use extra adapter for smaller thread of spark plug.My 576xpg s 153psi but no adapter.. when I had trouble with a 545 not running right from new I bought a can of Husqvarna premixed fuel every time...

Some thermostats give you a jumper or "electric" setting instead of "gas" . It turns on fan same time as w terminal. Check that on your furnace thermostat Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

545 was a gift to my Uncle, new saw runs good but he doesn't use it a lot. I bought the 550xpg last fall ,sometimes it has hanging high idle for a second but nothing scary. The original 545 had bog,stalling issues and seemed computer was always setting itself.Suspected air leak but was careful...
