    I use my 395 24"bar on alot of small wood.it has a 8t sprocket but I still have to push it to cut fast.is a 9tooth to much for firewood cutting?

    add decomp to stihl 039 cylinder?

    my stihl guy told me i can drill and tap my 039 cylinder for a decomp.i was a machinist so shouldnt be to hard but any advise or pics would be great.id like to do the same on a ms250 also.

    I got my 395 setup with stihl ps chain on a 24 bar and 8t sprocket.i did make this for milling but I do tree work so I took it to work .it was awesome for crosscutting .I cut 4 cords of ash quick .my question is is this a safe setup for crosscutting.     Husky 372 with 272 piston?

    Ive read about using the 272 piston in a 372bb cylinder on here.it seems like it would have different transfer timing cause of the windows.i need more info on this build.thanks
