    Thank you for the help

Although the tread was removed I wanted to thank everyone in Canada who helped me by checking the website I was trying to download a parts list from last night. It's strange because I still can't open the site but everyone else can. At the the same time it's only the site I mentioned and I'm...

    Husqvarna 266xp model year help?

This system of identifing the year works in most cases, however there are exceptions such as the 51. To be 100% certain of the year try contacting Husqvarna at: http://www.husqvarna.com/us/homeowner/support/customer-support/

    Possible CAD Therapy

You could try renting a saw for a day, but you would probably just go buy one the following day.

    Husky 359 Mystery Carb

The 359 had Walbro HDA series carburetors on them up to 2007. I can't say for sure about later years.

    Husqvarna fuel issues

"adjustment limiters" and I always thought those things were some kind of practical joke. I was always looking around for the candide camera as I was popping them off.

    Husqvarna fuel issues

It's just sad how things are going nowadays. How can anyone expect some pimple faced idiot working at Lowes to provide quality customer service for Husqvarna saws?

    Husqvarna fuel issues

"it was "vapor lock" caused by the wrong gasoline type" That's a bunch of nonsense. I agree with CGC4200, you should try adjusting the carb. Just do a "Fee Bay" search for "Husqvarna carburetor tool". It's the same splined driver used on newer Poulan saws.

    dolmar 5100 p.o.s

I bought an answering machine from Walmart the other day. Five minutes after I plugged the thing in it started making a buzzing sound. I tried unplugging it for a while, but it didn't work. I tried smashing it against the desk a few times, but that didn't work either. Finally i opened that back...

    keeping saw

90 days is a fairly standard policy. After that, the saw is yours. You should post that as a policy in your shop somewhere that it's clearly visible.

    359 carb adjust

Without the ring it was probably leaking air in between the carb and the intake. So you adjusted the carb too rich to compensate for the axcess air. Try re-adjusting the carb with the ring seal in place.

    Parts for Stihl 034

I may be wrong about this, but I thought you had to change the muffler too if you put a 034 Super/036 Cylinder and Piston on a standard 034?

    Parts for Stihl 034

It would help if you post some pics of the cylinder. If your son plans to use this saw alot for his business, I would suggest using a OEM Stihl cylinder and piston. For occasional use most aftermaket parts are acceptable. On the other hand, using a Stihl with aftermarket parts for heavy...

    Models made in China

Go to that big wholesale exchange site www.alibaba.com and do a search for the word "chainsaw". You will get over 200 pages of Chinese rip off chainsaws. Personally I don't really care if China makes what ever it wants, but the counterfeit items really tick me off.

    Finished my Stihl build

Sorry I was joking, I didn't actually make that. That was made for a new Stihl advertisement. I wish I had that much patience. Stihl even has the best advertisements.
