    Husqvarna 55 closed port project

    I bought the husqvarna oem closed port from Baileys a couple of years ago.. It is sitting in my garage on the shelf. Got a 55 open port...rounded up the closed port cylinder..just never switched it out yet. Think piston was 119.00

    Nice saws...I've got the 576at a smooth runner. Rounded up a 562 also it's a good all around firewood saw..hard to beat them Husky's in my book

    372xp or 576xp - I've read the threads, still undecided.

    I've got them both...the 576 with autotune has more pulling power torque than my 372..if you are gonna mill a lot get a 395xp or the old style 066... got those to CAD at it's worse..the 395 is a monster

    576 I've got the older model 372 and 576 autotune.....I like the 576 better..also got the 562at..it's a bad runnin saw for it's size..it will fool ya..bigtime!!!!

    New to me Husky 22 ton

    Be sure to check the lovejoy coupling between the motor and pump..mine worked loose from factory "rattled" and tore the rubber cushion up..i relined and replaced it.... loctited eveything..still running...

    Contact Speeco Splitters online...bypass may need adjusted..also check the lovejoy couplings between the engine and pump for tightness..mine worked loose on third truckload of wood ..spider was shot..new splitter .."assembled in USA" sticker on it man was I pissed..somebody not doing their job...

    Thanks..ordered one from baileys this morning..on backorder..no hurry..got to cut a load of wood today with my makita 6401 converted to 7900 cylinder from edge and engine..this baby is smooth..hate to say it..the ole 372xp might stay home more....
