I already have a replacement bar with a serviceable tip on order, this one will probably get scrapped.

Archer is the brand.

This bar tip is not removable and it looks like the bearing came apart. Is it worth the time to repair and if so where are the parts sourced from?

I am not running a Husky bar on the Echo, only the cache of 72DL chains I have for it. I bought the Archer bar which is an 72 DL bar made specifically for the Echo saw.

I made a purchase today. Seemed like the Echo CS-590 has gotten some good press. With a leftover Home Depot gift card it knocked the price to half of what the Still MS-311 would have cost. My only complaint is the 70 tooth bar , I will have to get a new bar to take advantage of all my chains...

Thoughts on a replacement, was looking at a Stihl 311. It would at least allow me to use all my existing chains without soen6 a ton, a bit more power as well.

I had to file the burs off the drive links to get the chain to settle in the bar. There are a few nicks on the drive sprocket - but it doesn't seem messed up. I can post a pic later.
