Advice on new EPA wood burning fireplace zero clearance

We have the Magnum ZC. It got installed when we built in '08. So far, so good. http://magnumheat.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/12/magnumzcbrochure.pdf

How to manage leaves in a large yard?

Is that PTO driven or does it have it's own engine? I've been searching for a PTO version but they are hard to find.

    MS250 or Husky 435?

I sold an MS250 w/ 16" bar a few months back after owning it for 13 years. I only sold it to get a pro model with M-Tronic. I'd definitely recommend that saw. Should also mention that I know nothing about the Husky 435.

    Treating Invasives with Herbicide

I've done quite a bit of buckthorn eradication over the past few years. For sure you NEED to treat the stump as soon as you cut them. I use Gordon's "Brush Killer for Hard to Kill Brush" mixed at 5oz per gallon (recommended mix)...

In Search Of.... MS 241 C-M

Sorry for the delayed update, I wanted to wait until I had the saw in hand before claiming SUCCESS! Of the three places that @Overkill338 suggested, only Southern States had one (actually two) in stock. Cost with 16" b/c was $519.95(MSRP) plus I got the 6-pack of HP Ultra oil to extend the...

    Kombi Pole Saw Oiler

Can't comment on adjustability. However, my Kombi pole saw attachment has leaked during storage since Day 1. For as infrequently as I use it I just drain the tank after each use.

In Search Of.... MS 241 C-M

Yeah, I have considered that. Unfortunately, the 261 is a little heavier and I seem to not be getting any stronger year-over-year. Thanks for the suggestion!

In Search Of.... MS 241 C-M

Thanks for the replies so far. I'm really looking for a stock saw and am for sure focused on Stihl as that's what I'm accustomed to using. If I can't find the 241 C-M, I'll most likely just buy another MS 250. The 250 I have now has served me well for 13 years and owes me nothing.

In Search Of.... MS 241 C-M

Time to upgrade my limbing saw and am convinced I need the MS 241 C-M. I understand they got discontinued in 2018(?). I'm willing to work the phone contacting U.S. dealers. Any ideas on who might still have one in old inventory?? Thank you!

Nice pics! I'm curious about the chainsaw holder on the back rack of the ATV. Was this something you bought or fabbed? Thx

    Popping wood

That’s why we have a fire retardant rug on the floor in front of the hearth. It has more than a few burn marks on it.
