Got a 475 poulan pro that started running lean. It will not stay idling and it runs lean in the cut even after adjusting the high and low screws to beyond rich enough. So I replaced the boot inbetween the carb and cylinder. Still lean. Checked fuel line and fuel filter. They are both good...

I used to run 87 ethanol yrs ago until fuel lines started going bad. After that from time to time I would run 89 nonethanol, now I just run 91 octane nonethanol. All saws are tuned for the high octane. I did run 100ll once in a while mixed 40 percent with 89 nonethanol just for the fun of it...

Homelite xp-1020 powerhead. Has great compression. Runs with fuel shot in the carb. Everything is there. I don't have the time or patience to go through the carb. New tygon fuel line installed in tank and tank resealed. Just needs carb cleaned/gone through.

Needs a good cleaning. It's been sitting out in a metal pole shed for years getting knocked around. I am the second owner. It does run, and has very good compression. Original owner ran about 4 to 6 tanks of fuel through it. Told me it was too loud and too heavy.
